Resurrecting Romance: Movies

Our favorite date is grabbing a DVD, popping some popcorn and snuggling up at home.

So, how about I share a list of romantic movies to watch together? Together is the key word there. To keep the movie list from getting too "pink" (feminine), I enlisted the help of my hubby to add a little "blue" to the list. Hubby and I picked favorites from a long list of romantic movies separately, and almost all of the movies listed below are ones that we both picked. I must admit, I *did* add a couple to the list behind his back...sorry Sweetie! (A Walk in the Clouds is THE definition of a romantic movie!)

Here's our list. Have fun building yours.

I love this list! I haven't seen Ladyhawk yet, so bring on the popcorn! Recently I discovered that our library carries a lot of these titles and oldie-but-goodie shows and we can rent for FREE. We just rented The Court Jester (uh-huh) and Pirates of the Carribbean (the first one, of course).

My in-laws just sent a mystery package too-- and inside was "The Original Whirley Pop"; it's a stove-top popcorn popper so we can make our own Kettle Corn.

But the company also sent other recipes too: Victorian Pink Mint Popcorn, Texas Herb and Spice Blend, Cinnamon Crunch Popcorn, Chocolate Mint Marshmallow Bars and on and on...an entire collection resplendant in all of its sinful glory. Bring it, honey!

Oh, that sounds good.

Rebekah, you know that this is no where near a comprehensive list, either! John and I just enjoy watching ANY movies together, so whittling down the list was painful.

Dang -- Rebekah got a kettle corn maker? No fair!

We'll be over tonight.
