Fall Leaf Art Tutorial

Framed Fall Leaves-1

Seasonal decorations can get expensive! Here's a nice idea we did here that can cost you next to nothing: bring the outdoors in. DH and I ran off to the mountains to get these leaves (the Alpine Loop is breathtaking this time of year), but all you really have to do is just step outside.

Framed Maple Leaf-1

Gather some pretty, colorful leaves and dry them between two pieces of newspaper for a couple of days. Arrange them in an inexpensive frame, using tiny pieces of glue dots to mount them on cardstock.  Voila!

They look lovely! I should do something like that with my kids, they'd love it.

That’s a sweet craft there. It’ll be a great reminder of our fun date up in the canyon!

Wendy, those are beautiful! That black frame really sets off the color in the leaves. Good idea!

And I love that you’ve posted a photo of yourself with your profile. It's nice to "see" who I'm talking to! :-)
